The Promise: Untold Stories of South Carolina's Black Patriots is a touring theatrical production highlighting the contributions of Blacks to the American Revolutionary War, founding of the United States, and the plight to their own freedom and independence. The goal of the tour is to touch as many individuals and groups in South Carolina and beyond during 2026 as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and birth of this nation. Supporting the cost of vans, trucks, fuel, meals, and accommodations ensures the tour's sustainability and health as we travel to you and beyond.
